Joe Milmont and William Smith, members of the Forty & Eight, are visiting each elementary school in the District to teach first graders about the history of the American Flag as well as teaching the students about proper flag etiquette.
The Forty & Eight is an independent, by invitation, honor organization of male and female U. S. veterans who are committed to charitable and patriotic aims. Joe and William speak to thousands of students each year across Northeast Ohio.
Each student received a small American Flag as well as a coloring book. The flags and the coloring books were donated by Digital Imaging Specialist.
