Students in the Riverside High School’s SIDE Leadership class will be accepting donations for the school’s annual Day of Caring fundraiser. Day of Caring has been held every year since 2004 and thus far, has raised more than $70,000 total. Each year, various local charities are chosen to receive the funds. This year, funds raised from Day of Caring will benefit local families in need in time for the holidays as part of the school’s Adopt-A-Family program.
Anyone willing to donate can do so between November 28 and December 6. During this collection time, donations that will be accepted are: cash, change, checks made out to Riverside High School and gift cards to Target, Walmart and Amazon.
If you have any questions, or would like to make a donation, or know a Riverside family in need, please reach out to Jaime McIntyre by November 28 at [email protected]
