The Reading and Wrtiting Workshops have been created over decades and are rooted in research and the developmental growth of children.Students read and write at their individual levels with instruction given to develop and nurture student growth. Second grade students will have reading experience with both fiction and non-fiction books. They will write narrative, opinion and nonfiction texts.
It is our goal to have highly engaged students who are developing a true love of literacy.
