*** School starts at 9:10 am first bell rings at 9:00
*** If you have not created a parent portal account, contact the office for your sixteen GUID number. If you have forgotten your password or user name, it will need to be reset and you will need to contact the board office at 440-358-8205 to have it reset.
*** Fees for the 2018-2019 school year are $68 for the elementary schools and can be paid by check or cash at the building or on-line using the parent portal in Infinite Campus. It can be located under the Parent box.
*** To update information in Infinite Campus, you can send in a note with your child, contact the Leroy office (440) 358-8750 or email:
[email protected] with any contact changes. It is important to keep this information up to date so we can reach you in case of an emergency. This information is also used by our automated system to contact you with important messages and school closings!
*** When possible, all medication should be given by the parent at home. If that is not possible, medication may be administered by the school healthaide. All medication, prescription and over-the-counter, must be accompanied by the school medical form which has been completed by the parent and physician requesting that the medication be given. All medication, must be received in the original container labeled with the student's name, name of medication, and proper dosage. Medication is to be brought to the clinic/office by the parent, not the student.
No child should have medication with him/her at any time, including non-prescription drugs such as Tylenol, aspirin, and cough drops. Students who carry medication with them (inhalers, epi-pen) may do so only with the proper approval by a physician and parent. The proper paperwork must be filed with the school healthaide.
*** Leroy is a secure building. The doors are locked at all times. Visitors must ring the bell for admittance and report to the office. Latchkey parents and staff have been issued key fobs to enter before and after school hours (while school is open). Please do not drop off students before 9:00am unless they are going to latchkey because the doors will not be opened.
*** We go outside everyday if the temperature is at 20* or above! Please remember to have your child bring their coats, snowpants, gloves, and hats. Even when there is no snow, the snowpants will keep your child from getting wet when he/she falls in the mud! The clinic no longer has snowpants or boots to borrow.
