Want to host a foreign exchange student?

Have you and your family ever thought about hosting a foreign exchange student? The AFS is looking to place three students - from France, West Japan and Finland - into a home in the Riverside Local School District for the 2019-2020 school year.

Theo (France) - Theo is sociable and funny and loves to make people laugh. He is incredibly close to his family and likes to spend time playing sports and traveling. He also loves fashion and enjoys shopping. She hopes to go to Business School and is excited what American culture is like. 

Mayuko (West Japan) - Mayuko is friendly, kind and studious. She enjoys soccer, basketball, singing and drawing. She is very close to her friends and enjoys going to the movies, karaoke. She hopes to work in the movie industry. 

Eelis (Finland) - Eelis loves ice hockey and has played since he was 4-years-old. He also enjoys soccer and martial arts. He is polite and motivated. 

AFS is a non-profit organization that works to build a more just and peaceful world through international education and exchange. Students arrive in August and live with a local family and attend the local school district. Students have their own medical insurance and spending money.
