Dr. Brian Hoeflinger, the author of The Night He Died: The Harsh Reality of Teenage Drinking, will be visiting Riverside High School with his wife Cindy to speak to any interested parents and community members in the auditorium on Thursday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
The Hoeflinger’s son, Brian, tragically died at the age of 18 following a drinking and driving accident in Toledo.
The Hoeflingers, who have since created the Brian Matters Fund, would like to share their story with the Riverside community as well as discuss the realities of drinking and driving.
This event is free of charge.
On Friday, September 13, the Hoeflingers will speak to all students at Riverside Campus during the school day. All students at Riverside Campus read The Night He Died as their summer reading assignment.
