Lake Metroparks employees are visiting each elementary school in the District to design Geocaching courses for all fifth graders.
Students are being split into teams and are going out to the outdoor preset course and using grid coordinates and a handheld device to plot their course in the quest to locate items.
This is a great opportunity for students to learn about science, social studies, technology and the importance of team-building.
