As the District continues to work on designing its two new elementary buildings, we are looking for input from parents and community members.
Melissa Mlakar, Director of Curriculum, is hosting focus groups throughout February at each elementary building to get input about designs, floorplans and any other ideas from parents and community members. There will also be a presentation and pictures from other new schools and classrooms around Ohio.
Each meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Below are the meeting dates. If you would like to get involved in this process, plan to attend any of the below meetings.
Wednesday, February 1 – Hadden Elementary
Thursday, February 2 – Buckeye Elementary
Monday, February 13 – Hale Road Elementary
Wednesday, February 15 – Leroy Elementary
Thursday, February 16 – Madison Avenue Elementary
Tuesday, February 21 – Melridge Elementary
In addition, Mlakar is also going to each elementary building to host a lunch with current 4th and 5th graders to get their input on what they'd like to see in our new schools as well.
