RLEEF
Riverside Local Excellence for Education Foundation

RLEEF was established in 1984 to:

Ø     Provide monies through grants to support innovative, unique educational experiences, activities, programs and materials to the students and faculty of the district.

Ø     Offer a Teacher-Grant program in the fall and spring. 
{In the spring of 2006, RLEEF
 awarded 11 grants totaling nearly $8400.00 to teachers and $20,000 technical grants to the district.  In the fall of 2006 $5332.00 was awarded, spring of 2007 was $6772.00, fall of 2007 $9500.00 was awarded to teachers and in the spring of 2007 $5850 was awarded to 7 teachers.}

Ø     Manage and underwrite 6 scholarships given in June

RLEEF is supported through Contributions and 2 Major Fundraisers:

·        Pancake Breakfast Sunday March of 2009 (TBA) from   8:00 – 1:30

                        

·        13th Annual Evening of Excellence on November 8, 2008

                 

     

RLEEF is made up of 10 trustees, but continues to exists through the support of the whole district.  The trustees also serve as building liaisons who keep in contact with each building principal and parent organization about RLEEF and current programs in place.

 

Many teachers/employees contribute monthly through payroll deduction; donate baskets, services, or volunteer their time at the Annual Auction & Breakfast. 


Some of the PFC presidents personally contribute items as well as most encourage their organization to make a donation.
