Michael A. Rock, CPA serves as the Treasurer Chief Financial Officer for the District reporting directly to the Board of Education. Mr. Rock is an experienced School Treasurer since 2004 and Certified Public Accountant since 1998 with eight years of public and private accounting experience. He has a passion for accounting and financial information that serves the District in data based decisions and long-term strategic planning.
The Treasurer's Office oversees the financial operations of the District and is responsible for all accounting, payroll and Auditor of State compliance. The District is audited annually by the Auditor of State and the audit reports are available on the Auditor of State website. The Treasurer is responsible for preparing the District's annual tax budget and the Five-Year Financial Forecast.
The Treasurer serves as Secretary to the Board of Education. In this role, the Treasurer's office holds all contracts, documents and the official minutes of all Board of Education meetings.
