Welcome Letter
Welcome Letter
Dear Third Grade Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Tana Ford. I graduated from Lake Erie College, studying Elementary Education. I received a teaching job right out of college. I taught third grade for two years in Cleveland. I have been looking forward to this opportunity and I am ready to have fun and work successfully at Buckeye Elementary.
I grew up in Perry, Ohio and attended Perry Local Schools. After graduation I went to Edinboro University to later transfer to Lake Erie College. I now live in Madison, Ohio, with my husband Rob and child Russell.
Third grade is a time to develop age-appropriate skills, independence, skills for interacting with peers, cooperative learning skills, and a love for learning. I will work hard in preparing your child for the fourth grade.
I look forward to working with you and your child. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me by email at
[email protected]
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ford
